Caregivers play a critical role in caring for a loved one with dementia. We at Help at Home Services understand the challenges , stress and emotions that families face. We have tools to help your loved one have a meaningful day and we will design a specialized care plan to ensure a productive, purposeful day. Our goal is to keep them engaged and stimulated through different activities.
Our qualified caregivers have advanced dementia training . We take a revolutionary approach to caring for people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia at home. We have activities based on the clients' personal and past interests that are appropriate for their current level of dementia.

24-Hour Home Care
Help at Home Services does not offer “live in” services. However we can accommodate round the clock care with a team of caregivers that follow a custom care plan to fulfill the clients' needs.
We do not require our caregivers to work every weekend. It is important to us that they also have time with their own families and have appropriate rest so that they can be the best versions of themselves while at work and at home.

Parkinson's Care
Help at Home Services understands the challenges of living with and caring for loved ones with Parkinson’s disease. After a free in-home safety evaluation and fall risk assessment, our skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants will provide the following services:
- Assistance with mobility by certified caregivers trained in proper body mechanics to ensure optimal safety;
- Assistance with lifts and other durable medical equipment by caregivers experienced in the proper and effective use of devices which will enhance and encourage client autonomy;
- Morning and evening care including assistance with getting in and out of bed, bathing, dental hygiene, grooming and dressing;
- Monitoring of medications to advise of side effects, maintain proper timing of dosages and manage symptoms;
- Assistance with nutrition and meal planning to offset symptoms of Parkinson’s, maximize effects of medication and promote overall well-being;
- Homemaker services including light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed linens, meal preparation, grocery shopping/put away groceries, run errands, home safety management;
- Transportation to doctor appointments and physical therapy.
- Encourage and support client in exercise programs as prescribed by physical therapists/occupational therapists. Daily exercise assists with mobility, muscle strength, fall prevention and can reduce depression and anxiety.
Post-Surgery Recovery
After joint replacement surgery, rehabilitation is the most crucial aspect to recovery and return to independence. A clients' main concern during the rehabilitation period should be to focus on getting stronger so that they can return to normal activities and routines. Help at Home Services’ Joint Replacement Surgery Aftercare includes the following services:
- Free in-home safety evaluation and fall risk assessment after surgery;
- All care provided by trained Certified Nursing Assistants;
- Assistance with home set up recommendations from care provider;
- Assistance with managing durable medical equipment and assistive devices to speed recovery and avoid injury;
- Initial management and organization of medication by RN;
- Assistance with bathing and dressing;
- Assistance with after surgery home exercise program as directed by in-home physical therapist;
- Homemaker services including transportation home from hospital, light housekeeping, laundry, change bed linens, meal preparation, grocery shopping/put away groceries, run errands;
- Transportation to post-op doctor visits and physical therapy.
